Every Case Starts With an Assessment

Most jobs get quoted before the unit’s been checked. We assess first — it’s the only way the fix actually lasts.

Why Problems Keep Coming Back

Most aircon problems get treated as symptoms. Unit isn’t cold — top up the gas. Unit is leaking — clear the tray. That solves the complaint for a few weeks. It doesn’t solve the problem. A slow refrigerant leak looks like a unit that just needs a top-up — until it needs another one three months later, and another one after that.

The same pattern shows up across every service category. Noisy unit — tighten the loose panel. Drainage block — flush the drain, job done. Even full replacements sometimes go in without understanding why the previous unit failed early. The underlying condition — a refrigerant line with poor insulation, a drainage path that holds water, a location with no airflow — stays exactly as it was.

The Difference Is Diagnostic Capability

Knowing when the answer isn’t the obvious one. That takes training, and it takes the habit of checking before touching — even when the problem looks familiar, even when the quick fix would bill just the same.

So that’s how every job starts. A systematic check of the unit before anything is opened, topped up, or replaced. Twenty minutes, sometimes less. What it finds is what shapes the recommendation — not what’s fastest to do, not what’s easiest to quote. Sometimes that means telling someone their unit is worth servicing. Sometimes it means telling them it isn’t.

The recommendation comes out of what the unit actually showed — not an assumption about what’s probably wrong. If the check finds something serious, we say so. If it doesn’t, we say that too.

The work that follows comes from a small toolkit: cleaning, repair, or full replacement. The finding picks which one. There’s no package menu to choose from, no tier to upsell into — the job is whatever the unit actually needs, no more.

BCA-licensed. 10,000+ service calls across HDB, condo, landed, and commercial. Most of our new customers come through word of mouth.

We publish diagnostic cases drawn from actual service calls: the fault, the diagnosis, what was done, and why. They show how a job actually gets worked — before any recommendation is made.

Every job starts with an assessment not because thoroughness is the point, but because the work doesn’t hold without it. The same starting point, regardless of job size.

Not sure what’s wrong? That’s exactly where we start.
