We spent years in the aircon trade before starting Snowflake. The repairs were rarely the problem — compressors fail, drain lines block, capacitors blow, and there are known fixes for all of it.

The problem was the conversation around the repair. Customers weren’t getting bad work. They were getting work they couldn’t verify, explained in language designed to close, not to clarify. So when we started Snowflake, we started with the team.

We don’t recruit from the trade. We hire fresh and train from scratch. Every technician learns three things before they’re sent to a job: how to test properly, how to explain what they found in plain language, and when to tell a customer their unit doesn’t need work. That last one is the hardest to teach, and it’s what we screen for most.

You tell us what the unit is doing. We narrow the likely cause and tell you whether it needs an on-site check. If it does, we run a $30 assessment — the technician tests, explains what’s involved, and you decide what happens next. That fee is waived if you proceed.

Every job is documented: what was found, what was done, what was left alone. So the next conversation starts from fact, not memory.
