Reading a code or blinking light
The same code can mean different things across brands, and even across model families. A few rules cut through that.
The code names the category, not the cause
Drain, sensor, communication, pressure. Each still needs a check to confirm what actually failed.
One reset, then stop
Repeated resets stress the compressor or PCB. If the code returns inside one cooling cycle, send it to us instead of trying again.
Send a photo with the code
Display, indoor unit, water if there's a leak, outdoor unit if it's noisy. Visual evidence cuts the back-and-forth.
