What a removal job covers

Renovating, moving out, or replacing the system: we handle the full sequence, refrigerant recovery, disconnect, dismount, and disposal. Scope depends on access, system size, and whether reinstatement, wall patches and paint touch-up, is part of the job. Most jobs fall into one of these patterns:

  • Pre-renovation removal

The aircon has to come out before hacking, ceiling work, or layout changes begin.

  • System is beyond repair or no longer worth keeping

Removal clears the space for replacement installation, or for going without a unit at all.

  • Property sale or lease handover

Removal plus reinstatement avoids exposed brackets, pipe holes, or open cabling at handover.

When removal isn't suitable

Before committing to disposal, check whether the system should be repaired, reused, or moved instead.

  • Unit is in good condition and needed elsewhere

Relocation preserves the unit and reinstalls it at the new position. Disposal is permanent.

  • System might only need repair

Start with on-site inspection if the actual fault hasn't been diagnosed.

  • Renovation timeline isn't confirmed

Schedule removal once the hacking date is firm, so the property isn't left without cooling too early.

What you get

Space cleared, without leaving unsafe or half-finished work for the next trade.

  • Safe disconnection sequence

We handle refrigerant, electrical, and drainage before any unit comes off the wall.

  • Removal and disposal in one scope

Dismounting, pipe removal or capping, and disposal all coordinated together.

  • Reinstatement option

Wall patches, bracket hole filling, and paint touch-up can be included for a cleaner handover.

How a removal works

A safety-first sequence, so refrigerant, wiring, drainage, units, and disposal are handled in the right order.

  1. You message us

Tell us the situation, renovation, replacement, or handover, the unit type, and whether walls need patching after.

  2. We scope and quote

We check access, system size, and reinstatement needs, then price the job. Nothing starts without your approval.

  3. We recover and disconnect

We recover the refrigerant before disconnection, then isolate and cap the electrical, refrigerant, and drainage connections.

  4. We dismount and remove

We take down the indoor and outdoor units, brackets, pipes, drainage, and trunking, per the agreed scope.

  5. We dispose and reinstate

We take the units and materials off-site, with wall or ceiling reinstatement if it's quoted.

Frequently asked questions about aircon removal & disposal in Singapore

How much does aircon removal cost?
It hinges on system type, number of units, access difficulty, and reinstatement scope. Send us the details and we'll quote.
Can you remove just the indoor unit?
Yes. Partial removal is common, for example, taking out a wall-mounted unit in a room being renovated while keeping the outdoor unit and other indoor units running. We disconnect and cap the relevant connections.
Do you dispose of the units?
Yes. Disposal is included. You don't need to arrange anything separately.
Can I keep the unit for reinstallation elsewhere?
Yes. If you want to keep the unit for future use or relocation, we recover the refrigerant, disconnect carefully, and hand the unit to you. See our relocation service if you need it moved and reinstalled at another location.
