Aircon Removal & Disposal
If you're renovating, moving out, or replacing the system, we handle the full sequence: refrigerant recovery, disconnect, dismount, and disposal. Scope depends on access, system size, and whether reinstatement (wall patches, paint touch-up) is part of the job. For current rates, see the pricing page.

What A Removal Job Covers
What's included depends on the situation that triggered the removal. Most jobs fall into one of these three patterns.
Pre-renovation removal
The aircon has to come out before hacking, ceiling work, or layout changes begin.
System is beyond repair or no longer worth keeping
Removal clears the space for replacement installation, or for going without a unit at all.
Property sale or lease handover
Removal plus reinstatement avoids exposed brackets, pipe holes, or open cabling at handover.
When to Start Elsewhere
Before committing to disposal, check whether the system should be repaired, reused, or moved instead.
Unit is in good condition and needed elsewhere
Relocation preserves the unit and reinstalls it at the new position. Disposal is permanent.
System might only need repair
Start with on-site inspection if the actual fault hasn't been diagnosed.
Renovation timeline isn't confirmed
Schedule removal once the hacking date is firm, so the property isn't left without cooling too early.
What Happens During Removal
Removal follows a safety-first sequence so refrigerant, wiring, drainage, units, and disposal are handled in the right order.
Recover refrigerant
We pump down or recover the refrigerant before disconnection, so no gas is released uncontrolled.
Disconnect safely
We isolate and cap electrical, refrigerant, and drainage connections where needed.
Dismount units and remove lines
We remove or cap indoor and outdoor units, brackets, pipes, drainage, and trunking, based on the agreed scope.
Dispose and reinstate
We take units and materials off the premises, with wall or ceiling reinstatement included if quoted.
What You Get
Space cleared, without leaving unsafe or half-finished work for the next trade.
Safe disconnection sequence
We handle refrigerant, electrical, and drainage before any unit comes off the wall.
Removal and disposal in one scope
Dismounting, pipe removal or capping, and disposal all coordinated together.
Reinstatement option
Wall patches, bracket hole filling, and paint touch-up can be included for a cleaner handover.
